Silverfleet portfolio company Sigma Components appoints Non-Executive Chairman and new Chief Financial Officer
Following Silverfleet Capital’s acquisition in May 2016 of a majority stake in Sigma Components (“Sigma”), Silverfleet is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mark Rollins and Ed Riley as Non-Executive Chairman and Chief Financial Officer respectively. Based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, Sigma is a precision engineering components manufacturer for the commercial aerospace sector.
The new appointments complete Sigma’s Board of Directors, which has been strengthened since Silverfleet’s acquisition to support the company’s growth plans.
Mark Rollins has an extensive career in the manufacturing and aerospace sectors. He is a former CEO and Financial Director of Senior Plc, the engineering and manufacturing group, where he played an instrumental role in transforming the business.
Ed Riley also brings considerable experience to Sigma having worked as CFO and Finance Director for a number of private equity-backed businesses including Concentric plc, Conex Banninger and more recently Gardner Aerospace.
